Issue 29: May 5th is the International Day of the Midwife

In just a few short weeks, on May 5th, the world will come together to celebrate a truly vital profession: midwifery. The International Day of the Midwife is a globally recognized occasion to honour the incredible dedication, skill, and compassion of midwives everywhere. Established by the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) and observed by over 50 nations, this annual event shines a spotlight on the crucial role midwives play in the health and well-being of women and their newborns throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.
